{Meet Jack} Session Previews

This little man was a stud! I cannot believe how cute he was! Typical little boy wouldn't stand still for a picture but boy oh boy was he absolutely handsome! I only got some close-ups of him but they were all totally worth it!

{KK} Modeling Photography

I needed a winter model and who better than to have an old friend do it. We hadn't seen each other in at least 5 to 6 years so It was absolutely AMAZING to see her again! We had so much fun driving around trying to find spots to take pictures. I cannot wait to do them again!!!

{AC & O} Family

Another studio session! This one was a blast too because I got to experience more with my lighting and flash settings! I also got to experiment with textures and black and white settings as well as retouching and color. I just love learning new things with photography!

Family Studio Session with {H}

o

You know, I am getting pretty good at the lighting and such in my studio. I cannot wait to open my studio in an actual building other than my house. The only downside is that at the moment I only have a black backdrop. It works, as you can see in these pictures. I know how to apply textures and such in Photoshop so making that backdrop pop is a task I can handle!

This family is actually friends of my husband. They are such a fun and exciting family, very loving and talented! I got to listen to {Jesse} play his guitar, and the girls just giggled it up when they were attacking him! Although the weather was cold, being with this fun loving family made it a little warmer!

{H} Family/Child Session Previews

I had the honor to photograph a very adorable little tyke today and his family. Amanda was actually a friend of mine in high school, and this was the first time in at least 4 to 5 years since I have seen her. I also got to meet her adorable little sport and her fresh new husband. They are such a loving family and despite the freezing cold I had so much phone taking their pictures!

I did a studio session in black and white of the Twins. I am still learning how to use the studio, and have a lot of learning to do. However, I thought that these pictures of the boys turned out super cute!

MORE 2010 Christmas Photo Cards

I have been super busy making photo cards. I currently don't have a way for you to purchase the photo-card separate from ordering photos in them, however, if you want the .psd template for it you just need to email me at tahorton@hotmail.com and currently, until further notice, I will just send it to you.

Playin at the Park

I had the most adorable family session the other day! This family was so fun loving and playful that it was so much fun to capture their photos on the play set at the park! {L} was so shy that it took him awhile to warm up to the camera, but by the middle of the shoot, he kept saying "me, me!"

A Double Session!?!?!

Remember my last post where I stated that I did two sessions at once? Well the other session was with my BFF (yes, I just said that!) Elicia!!!! I got some awesome shots of her family, and it felt great to be able to catch her family in the moment! It was a great day!

{R} Family

I was so grateful to meet the {R} Family on 10-31! I actually got to do 2 family session at once! My best friend (forever!) Elicia had a friend who also wanted to get her pictures done the same day Elicia booked her session. They decided together that they would have their session at the same time so that if one family had to warm up or make their children "happy" they could step out and the other family could step in! It worked well, and I got some very memorable shots of this loving family!
